Learning Rooms

At Pavilion Prep Kindergarten, our learning environment is carefully designed to support each child’s development, curiosity and confidence. We have four dedicated rooms, each tailored to a specific age group, ensuring children feel secure and inspired as they learn through play.

Angelica Room – Babies

Our nurturing Baby Room provides a safe, comforting space where the youngest children explore at their own pace. Through sensory play, gentle routines, and responsive care, we support early social, emotional, and physical development. Staff observe and respond to each child’s individual needs, helping them to build confidence and a love of learning.

Marigold Room – Toddlers

The Toddlers’ Room encourages curiosity and independence through hands-on, age-appropriate activities. Children develop early language, social skills, and self-expression. Staff carefully plan experiences based on ongoing observations, ensuring learning is tailored to each child’s stage of development.

Bluebell Room – Prep 1

In Bluebell children continue to build key skills in literacy, numeracy, communication, and physical development. Learning is play-based and carefully structured to challenge each child while nurturing creativity, confidence, and problem solving skills. Observations inform planning, so every child’s learning journey is individualised.

Lilac Room – Prep 2

Our Lilac Room prepares children for school by fostering independence, resilience, and collaboration. Staff plan activities across all areas of the EYFS, focusing on supporting each child’s unique abilities and interests. Children develop confidence, curiosity, and readiness for their next stage of learning.

Each room is thoughtfully resourced to reflect the children’s interests and developmental needs. Our staff regularly assess, observe and plan for each child, ensuring learning is engaging, safe, and tailored to help every child thrive.
